EMWD’s contractor will be performing exploratory work the week of August 7, with full closures anticipated to begin shortly thereafter. The road closures will be during daytime hours and detour signage will be posted in the area.

Indian Street between Cottonwood Avenue and Dracaea Avenue will be the first segment of the closure. Following the completion of work in that area – anticipated to last several weeks – Indian Street between Dracaea Avenue and Atwood Avenue will be closed. The closures and corresponding traffic control plans were approved by the City of Moreno Valley.

Residents along Indian Street will be permitted access to their homes. EMWD has coordinated with the Moreno Valley Unified School District regarding access to March Mountain High School and Moreno Valley Adult Education School, located at the southeast corner of Indian Street and Dracaea Avenue. Students and parents should anticipate delays and follow all detour signage in the area.
