Perris, CA (June 23, 2023) — Eastern Municipal Water District (EMWD) encourages its customers to celebrate National Hydration Day by enjoying a delicious glass of high-quality tap water, at a fraction of the price of bottled water.

National Hydration Day takes place each year on June 23 as a reminder to remain hydrated to avoid dehydration, heat stroke and other heat-related issues.

As part of its celebration of the day, EMWD encourages customers to use a reusable water bottle to enjoy high-quality EMWD tap water. Each year, EMWD conducts more than 40,000 water quality tests to ensure the safety and reliability of its water supplies.

EMWD also promotes hydration through its efforts in the community, including its water bottle fill stations at more than 120 schools, parks and community centers. EMWD’s Hydration Van also attends a wide range of community events, offering free tap water to help keep guests hydrated.
